How can you participate?
The concept of helping the less advantaged among us is fundamental to a civilised and free society. Of similar significance is the concept of equality of opportunity.
The mission of the Intellectual Disability Foundation of St George is to provide the capital, facilities and co-ordination of support required to enable people with intellectual disabilities to live happy, healthy and productive lives in the St George community.
The Foundation is a pacesetter in supporting people with intellectual disabilities. It does this by finding and providing meaningful work: by opening ‘employment doors’ which for too long have been closed. In accordance with our mission the task is to now meet a wider spectrum of the needs of the most vulnerable members of our community.
There are three levels of Foundation participation

Participation as a Member of the Foundation is available to an individual on payment of an annual fee of $11.00 (including GST)

Trustee Governor
Participation as a Trustee Governor of the Foundation is offered to an individual or organisation who makes a donation of $25,000 or more
Terms of Membership
Membership for individuals at the level Governor or Trustee Governor is for life. Membership for organisations at these levels is for a period of 25 years.
