Join us for a relaxing outing to Scroll Boi Kingsgrove followed by a visit to Carrs Park, an NDIS-funded community participation activity for people with intellectual disability. Participants will enjoy a delicious drink or snack before spending time outdoors with friends in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
This outing provides valuable opportunities to develop everyday life skills, including ordering food and drinks, handling money, making choices and interacting with members of the community. At Carrs Park, participants can enjoy the fresh air, take in the scenic surroundings and socialise while building confidence and strengthening friendships. The combination of a café visit and outdoor recreation encourages wellbeing, communication and greater independence through meaningful real-world experiences.
