Participants from the Intellectual Disability Foundation of St George are invited to join our Skills Building session focused on sensory play. This engaging activity will explore the five senses: touch, smell, taste, sight, and hearing.
Sensory play activities help participants develop important life skills by encouraging exploration, creativity, and self-expression. Through different sensory experiences, participants can improve focus, communication, and emotional regulation in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
Activities may include feeling different textures, identifying scents, tasting simple foods, exploring colourful visual materials, and listening to a variety of sounds. These experiences support learning, confidence, and social interaction.
If you would like to take part in this session, please RSVP to confirm your place. We look forward to a fun and interactive skills-building experience together!
