Join us for Sports and Lunch at the Local Park, a fun and active NDIS-funded community participation activity for people with Intellectual Disability. This enjoyable outdoor experience combines light recreational sports with a relaxing, shared lunch, giving participants the opportunity to stay active, build friendships and enjoy time in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
Participants will take part in a variety of fun sports and games that encourage teamwork, coordination and communication while promoting physical wellbeing and confidence. After the activities, everyone will enjoy lunch together, creating opportunities for conversation, social connection and meaningful friendships. Spending time outdoors also supports mental wellbeing, independence and greater confidence in community settings through real-world experiences.
Our NDIS-funded outings are designed to promote community participation, life skills development and healthy lifestyles while creating enjoyable experiences that support confidence and inclusion.
