Join us for an energetic and inclusive Basketball session at Arncliffe Youth Centre, designed especially for participants of The Intellectual Disability Foundation of St George.
This activity is a fantastic opportunity to get active, build confidence, and enjoy being part of a team. Basketball encourages coordination, communication and teamwork, while also promoting physical health and overall wellbeing. Whether participants are experienced players or simply keen to have a go, the session will be supportive, encouraging and focused on fun.
Sport plays an important role in developing independence and resilience. Through friendly games and skill-building activities, participants will strengthen social connections, practise following instructions, and celebrate personal achievements on and off the court. Most importantly, everyone will be encouraged to participate at their own pace in a safe and welcoming environment.
