Join us for our Chicken Fried Rice Cooking Class, a fun and practical NDIS-funded activity for people with Intellectual Disability. Participants will learn how to prepare a delicious homemade chicken fried rice while developing valuable cooking and everyday life skills in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
During the class, participants will practise preparing ingredients, measuring, chopping, mixing and cooking while following a simple step-by-step recipe. These hands-on activities help build confidence, improve fine motor skills and encourage greater independence in everyday living. Cooking together also promotes communication, teamwork and social connection, creating a rewarding experience where participants can learn new skills while enjoying time with friends.
Our NDIS-funded cooking classes are designed to support life skills development, community participation and increased independence through meaningful, hands-on experiences that participants can apply at home.
