Get ready for a fun and flavour-filled session as we make Chocolate Crackles: the much-loved Aussie treat combining chocolate, coconut and crunchy Cocoa Pops! In this hands-on cooking activity, participants will mix the ingredients, spoon the mixture into patty cases, and watch their tasty creations set before enjoying them together.
This session offers a wonderful opportunity to develop practical life skills in a relaxed and supportive setting. Participants will practise following simple instructions, measuring ingredients, and working safely in the kitchen. Mixing and spooning help strengthen fine motor skills, coordination, and concentration. Working together also promotes teamwork, communication, and sharing, with plenty of celebration at the end!
Our experienced support staff will be there every step of the way to provide guidance, maintain food safety and ensure a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for people with intellectual disabilities.…
