Join us for a relaxing coffee outing at Canterbury League Club, an NDIS-funded community participation activity for people with intellectual disability. This enjoyable social outing gives participants the opportunity to enjoy a coffee, hot chocolate or light refreshment while spending quality time with friends in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
Participants will build valuable everyday life skills by ordering food and drinks, handling money, making choices and interacting with café staff and other members of the community. These real-world experiences encourage greater independence, improve communication skills and help participants feel more confident in community settings. The outing also provides an opportunity to strengthen friendships, engage in meaningful conversations and enjoy a relaxed social experience.
