Join us for a relaxing coffee or hot chocolate outing to Oliver Brown at Rockdale Plaza, an NDIS-funded community participation activity for people with intellectual disability. This enjoyable social outing gives participants the opportunity to catch up with friends over a drink while building confidence and everyday life skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Participants will practise ordering food and drinks, making choices, handling money and interacting with café staff, helping to develop greater independence in everyday community settings. The outing also encourages conversation, communication and social connection, creating opportunities to strengthen friendships and enjoy meaningful time together.
Our NDIS-funded outings are designed to promote community participation, life skills development and social inclusion through enjoyable real-world experiences that build confidence and independence.
