Join us for a relaxing outing to Coogee Beach, a NDIS-funded community participation activity for people with Intellectual Disability. This enjoyable day by the coast gives participants the opportunity to enjoy fresh air, beautiful ocean views and quality time with friends in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
Participants will take a gentle walk along the beachfront, enjoy the scenic surroundings and spend time socialising while building confidence and valuable everyday life skills in a real-world community setting. The outing encourages communication, independence and social connection, while promoting physical and mental wellbeing through light outdoor activity and time in nature. Visiting one of Sydney's most popular beaches also provides meaningful opportunities to explore the local community and create lasting memories with others.
