Join us for our Cooking Class: Apple Crumble, a fun and engaging NDIS-funded activity for people with intellectual disability. Participants will learn how to prepare and bake a delicious homemade apple crumble while developing practical cooking and kitchen safety skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.
During the class, participants will practise measuring ingredients, preparing fruit, following a simple recipe and using kitchen equipment safely. These hands-on activities help build confidence, improve fine motor skills and encourage greater independence in everyday living. Cooking together also promotes communication, teamwork and social interaction, creating a positive and enjoyable learning experience for everyone.
Our NDIS-funded cooking classes are designed to support life skills development, community participation and increased independence through meaningful, hands-on activities that participants can apply at home.
