Join us for our Cooking Class: Banana Bread, a fun and engaging NDIS-funded activity for people with intellectual disability. Participants will learn how to prepare and bake delicious homemade banana bread while developing practical cooking skills in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
During the class, participants will practise measuring ingredients, preparing the mixture, following a simple recipe and using kitchen equipment safely. These hands-on activities help build confidence, improve fine motor skills and encourage greater independence in everyday living. Cooking together also promotes communication, teamwork and social interaction, creating a positive learning experience where participants can develop valuable life skills while enjoying time with friends.
Our NDIS-funded cooking classes are designed to support life skills development, community participation and increased independence through meaningful, hands-on experiences that participants can use in everyday life.
