Join us for a fun and engaging day out at Macquarie Shopping Centre! This community outing gives participants the opportunity to explore one of Sydney’s popular shopping destinations while developing independence, confidence and everyday life skills in a welcoming environment.
Participants can browse a variety of shops, discover new products, practise making purchasing decisions and enjoy spending time together in the community. The outing also provides opportunities to practise important skills such as navigating a busy shopping centre, following directions, managing money and communicating with staff and peers.
There will also be time to enjoy lunch or a snack together and take a break from exploring. Whether participants are looking for something specific or simply enjoying the experience of being out in the community, Macquarie Shopping Centre offers plenty to see and do.
