Get ready to prepare a delicious lunch in our Make Sandwiches for a Picnic cooking activity! This hands-on session gives participants the opportunity to build practical food preparation skills while working together to create a tasty picnic lunch in a fun and supportive environment.
Participants will help prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches by choosing fillings, assembling ingredients and practising safe food handling techniques. Along the way, they'll develop valuable everyday skills such as following simple instructions, making choices, preparing food safely and working as part of a team.
Once the sandwiches are ready, we'll head out to enjoy a relaxing picnic together, giving everyone the chance to share a meal, socialise and enjoy the outdoors. This activity encourages independence, confidence and community participation while making everyday life skills enjoyable and meaningful.
