Participants will practise important travel skills such as reading station signs, following directions, travelling safely as a group and navigating a busy public transport environment. Once in Chatswood, there will be time to explore the shopping precinct, browse local stores, visit cafés and enjoy lunch or a snack together.
This outing encourages independence, communication and decision-making while creating opportunities to socialise and experience a different part of Sydney. Travelling together also helps participants build confidence in using public transport for everyday community access.
