Get ready to bake something warm, comforting and delicious in our Pear Crumble Class! This hands-on cooking session gives participants the opportunity to create a classic homemade dessert while developing practical kitchen skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Participants will help prepare fresh pears, measure ingredients, mix the crumble topping and bake their own tasty pear crumble from start to finish. Along the way, they’ll practise important life skills such as following a recipe, measuring ingredients, kitchen safety and working together as a team.
Cooking is a wonderful way to build confidence, encourage independence and create opportunities for creativity and social connection. Best of all, everyone will get to enjoy the delicious pear crumble they’ve made together at the end of the session.
