Shopping excursions provide a valuable opportunity to develop important life skills. These include budgeting, money handling, decision-making, and communication. Participants can practise asking for help in stores, making purchases, and navigating busy public spaces, all while strengthening social confidence and community awareness. Sitting down for lunch together also encourages friendship and positive social interaction.
