Join us for an exciting and engaging outing to Sydney Fish Market, one of the largest seafood markets in the Southern Hemisphere! This community-based experience offers participants the opportunity to explore a vibrant waterfront setting, discover a wide variety of fresh seafood and food stalls, and enjoy a shared meal together.
This trip is designed to support people with intellectual disabilities and neurodivergence to build practical life skills in a real-world environment. Participants will practise budgeting by planning purchases, handling money, and making choices within a set spending limit. They will also develop communication skills by ordering food, asking questions, and interacting with vendors and group members. Navigating the market encourages decision-making and community awareness.
