Join us for an inspiring visit to the Sydney Observatory for a special Astro Photography experience. Participants will explore the night sky, learn about stars, planets and constellations, and discover how astronomy photography captures the beauty of space. With guidance from staff and educators, we’ll gain hands-on insight into how telescopes and cameras work together to create stunning celestial images.
This activity encourages curiosity, focus, and learning in an engaging, real-world setting. Participants can build confidence by trying new technology, asking questions, and sharing observations with the group. Discussing what we see in the sky naturally supports communication skills, teamwork, and social interaction, while the structured session promotes patience and attention to detail.
