Join us for a fun outing to Westfield Burwood, an NDIS-funded community participation activity for people with intellectual disability. This enjoyable shopping trip gives participants the opportunity to explore a variety of stores, enjoy a meal or snack and spend time with friends in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
Participants will build valuable everyday life skills by practising money handling, making purchasing decisions, ordering food and drinks, and confidently navigating a busy community setting. The outing also encourages communication, social interaction and independence while providing opportunities to develop confidence in everyday situations.
Our NDIS-funded outings are designed to promote community participation, life skills development and meaningful social connections through enjoyable real-world experiences. Whether browsing the shops or relaxing with friends, participants will enjoy a rewarding day in the community.
